9:00 am – 10:30 am: Registration – All registrations must be paid by August 1stand are non-refundable.
- $5 per person and free for children under 12

As of July 8th, we have reached the maximum number of meals allowed at the venue. However, we will have a list of restaurants and take-outs in the region – ask when you arrive.  Sorry for the inconvenience – the Organizing Committee.


11:00 am – 5 pm: Official opening – Display and sale of books, badges, pins, photos, etc.  You can bring old family photos to show but you will be responsible for them.

Entertainment by Dominique Breau, renowned storyteller and musician

1:30 pm – 1:50 pm:
- Presentation by Robert Brault (Québec), Breau genealogy specialist
- Brief presentation on the descendants of Vincent Brault circa 1650
- Individual meetings with Mr. Brault who will provide access to his database to conduct genealogical research
- Mr. Brault, who has published three books on the Breau bloodline, will have copies for sale during the reunion.

2:30 pm – 3:45 pm:
- Two presentations by guest speaker Susan Surette-Draper from Grand-Pré, Nova Scotia
- French 2:30 p.m. Pas seulement Évangéline : un aperçu des vraies Acadiennes
- English 3:15 p.m. Not Just Evangeline: A look at real Acadian Women
- Roles they played in their communities from 1650 to 1755 and after the deportation

4:00 pm – 5:00 pm:
- Gayle Breaux-Smith, guest speaker from Louisiana, USA - Footsteps in Time: France to the New World (English only)

5:00 pm – 7:00 pm:
- Supper served on site – $15 per person - for those who have registered and paid in advance. Deadline for reservations is July 15, 2019.

6:30 pm – midnight :
- The Hébert and Babin families have invited us to join them for an evening of Cajun and Acadian music at the Cocagne Marina.

Moncton Catholic mass at the Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption Cathedral, 226 St. George St., Moncton, NB

Memramcook 10:00 a.m. Catholic mass
Visit of the monument dedicated to Ste Marie-Léonie Paradis, descendant of Breau de L’Acadie, Québec. In 1880, she worked at the Collège St-Joseph in Memramcook with Father Camille Lefebvre and founded the Institut des Petites Sœurs de la Sainte-Famille. The Catholic Church declared her “Venerable” on January 31, 1981. You can visit the plaque on the grounds of the institute next to the church and municipal offices.

Acadian Day festivities in the afternoon organized by the Monument Lefebvre and the village of Memramcook on the beautiful grounds of the Monument Lefebvre. Family activities with musicians, shows, children’s games, BBQ. Bring your chairs!

Riverside-Albert, New Brunswick

Unveiling of the Chipoudie (Shepody) Monument, a tribute to the presence of Acadian families in Riverside-Albert (Albert County). Genealogical information on the families will be available on site.
