geraldine arsenault2xGéraldine Arsenault is originally from Prince Edward Island, but has lived in New Brunswick for over 30 years. As a member of the organizing committee, Géraldine brings an intimate knowledge of both provinces, as well as her profound attachment to Acadie.

Géraldine has also accumulated several years of experience working in the fields of tourism and history. She is currently the Field Unit Superintendent of Northern New Brunswick for Parks Canada.

“The Congrès mondial combines so many of my passions, which is why I am so drawn to the event. For me, it’s an opportunity to forge links between the two regions I call home. It is my wish to see these ties between Prince Edward Island and Southeastern New Brunswick grow even stronger.”

Géraldine believes the event will showcase a modern and vibrant Acadie, to which the enthusiasm and effervescence will astonish all generations.
