image communiqu operaRock 01Moncton, NB, April 18, 2019 –On May 30 at 8 p.m., the Congrès mondial acadien 2019 will unveil the Extrême frontière space programming during a performance of Les Hôtesses d’Hilaire’s rock opera Viens avec moi at the Capitol Theatre in Moncton, NB.

The Extrême frontière space will bring downtown Moncton to life during the Congrès mondial acadien 2019 with booths, pavilions, contemporary art and various stages featuring a wide range of artistic disciplines. In the evening, performances by several headliners will take place on the main stage along Riverfront Park, featuring artists from across the Francophonie. The Extrême frontière space will be open from August 16 to August 23, from 3 p.m. to midnight.

Everyone who purchases a ticket for Les Hôtesses d’Hilaire’s rock opera performance held on May 30 will also get a CMA 2019 pin, giving them access to major opening day events (August 10, Abram-Village), National Acadian Day show (August 15, Dieppe), closing day show (August 24, Shediac), and Extrême frontière space evening shows (with the exception of the August 16 performance).

Tickets for Viens avec moi are now available for purchase on the Capitol Theatre website for $35.
